I have been thinking about bringing my series of Serial Killer posts to a close for the time being by sharing some trivia, quotes and true crime documentaries that you may be interested in. In this post I will be sharing some shocking quotes from some of the most evilest of individuals to have walked this earth, some are still alive and some are no longer alive but I thought you may find this post interesting.
During my research on previous Serial killer cases, I have stumbled across information and segments of interviews which I had never heard before and it is interesting when you think you know all there is to know about a case or a particular Serial killer and you find out something new.
I find quotes and interviews by these types of people to be interesting, fascinating, sometimes sickening and disturbing. These quotes may be short but they say so much about these monsters, wouldn't you agree? There are so many quotes by Serial Killers and you may see them in my future posts but for now I will share these for your information. I hope you find this post interesting.
So let's get into it....
Ted Bundy:
'' You feel the last bit of breath leaving their body. You're looking into their eyes. A person in that situation is God.'' - Ted Bundy.
Ted Bundy needs no introduction, he is (in my opinion) one of the most over-glamourised Serial Killers I've ever researched or known of. I don't think any of us could count how many books, movies and documentaries that have been made about him. He also has a lot of delusional fans who are attracted to him which is pretty disturbing in itself. He may have been an intelligent man, well-spoken, charming and some would describe 'attractive' but behind all of that was a sick, twisted and evil, manipulative murderer. The details of his crimes are truly horrific, the things that he did are just beyond any of our worst nightmares.
''I'm the most cold-hearted son of a bit** you'll ever meet.'' - Ted Bundy.
Theodore Robert Bundy was an infamous American serial killer (surname at birth: Cowel, 24th of November 1946 - 24th of January 1989) who was responsible for the kidnap, rape, murder and mutilation of possibly 30+ young women. He also committed necrophilia with the remains of his many victims. A truly horrendous creature who continues to both fascinate and horrify true crime enthusiasts to this day. He represented himself at court on one occasion and the judge told him that if the circumstances had been different he would have made a fine lawyer.
Ted Bundy was sentenced to death and on the morning of the 24th of January 1989 he was strapped into the electric chair. His final words were:
''I would like to give my love to my family and friends.''
Ted was offered a 'last meal' but didn't take one bite of it. Members of the public and relatives of his victims cheered outside of the prison when his death was announced. He was cremated and his remains were reportedly scattered over the Cascade Mountains in Washington.
Edmund Kemper:

''If I killed them, you know, they couldn't reject me as a man. It was more or less making a doll out of a human being...and carrying out my fantasy with a doll. A living human doll.'' - Edmund Kemper.
I just covered the Edmund Kemper case here recently and Edmund has fast become one of those serial killers that was kind of under the radar for a number of years even though his crimes were horrendous. Since the incredible series, Mindhunter has been shown on Netflix, more and more people have been intrigued by this complex 6 ft 9 character who was portrayed so brilliantly by actor Cameron Britton.
Being a true crime enthusiast since the age of 6 I'd read about him before but like a lot of things, you think you know all about a case and then you discover more information that you didn't know about before. I highly recommend checking out my post on Edmund, it makes for chilling reading but will give you a bigger picture of what his crimes involved and him as a person.
I keep wanting to call him 'Edward' for some reason? I get the names 'Edward' and 'Edmund' mixed up, I'm being careful not to put the wrong name down in my post. Anyway, Edmund Kemper was born on the 18th of December 1948 in Burbank, California and is an American serial killer who is reportedly responsible for the deaths of 11 people, He murdered his grandparents at the age of 15, abducted, raped, murdered and mutilated 6 female hitchhikers and then went on to kill his mother and her best friend. The details of the murders are gruesome and pure horror. I wrote as sensitively as I could in my post but it was very difficult. The things he did to his own mother is just.....I have no words.
''I remember there was actual a sexual thrill ...you hear that little pop and pull their heads off and hold their heads up by the hair, whipping their heads off, their body sitting there . That'd get me off'' - Edmund Kemper, talking about his obsession with playing with his sister's dolls when he was younger.
Edmund is another one of those serial killers that comes across as quite talkative, charming and well-spoken in interviews and able to put this facade up to cover over the real demon that lies within. No matter how polite he may seem or how he tells stories in an engaging manner, the truth is, is that the man is a monster and he even agrees with this.
He's currently still alive and well serving time in a prison medical facility, partaking in volunteer work and is said to be a model prisoner but far too dangerous to ever be released.
Dennis Rader (BTK):

'' When this monster entered my brain, I will never know , but it is here to stay. How does one cure himself? I can't stop it, the monster goes on, and it hurts me as well as society. Maybe you can stop him but I can't.'' - Dennis Rader, BTK.
Dennis Rader (born on the 9th of March, 1945), otherwise known as The BTK Killer (Bind, Torture, Kill) is a serial killer that I will be featuring in my blog in a more in-depth post soon. He is always highly requested and was just about to be explored a bit more in the Mindhunter series before the show was cancelled (let's continue to pray that they make a third series). He's a horrible individual (as they all are) but also fascinating because he was able to cause so much horror and pain but led the double of life of a family man and managed to evade justice for a very long time.
I haven't covered his story yet because, as you can imagine, there's a LOT to get into with this one but it is a challenge that I'm going to take, so stay tuned for a future post on BTK. So with a brief mention here I will give you some background. Dennis is another American serial killer (sorry America - I do cover serial killers from other countries too, I promise) who reportedly murdered 10 people between the early 70s to the early 90s. He played a cat and mouse game with the cops and the media, sending letters and suddenly stopped but resumed again in 2004. His (reportedly) 10 innocent victims were subjected to being strangled, hung and stabbed. He killed men, women and even children, his youngest victim was a 9 year old boy.
'' I actually think I may be possessed with demons. I was dropped on my head as a kid.'' - Dennis Rader, BTK.
Dennis was able to create all of this horror, all of this evil sadistic murder whilst playing the family man at home. He had a private shed which was locked away from his family and he kept 'trophies' of his victims there, valuables, lingerie, drawings of what he had done and photographs. He also enjoyed dressing up, tying himself up and taking pictures. He has never shown a shred of remorse for what he has done and a lawyer (his name escapes me) said that when Dennis was recalling his crimes at his trial, he spoke about the horrible details as if he was reading off a shopping list.
Dennis is still alive and serving his time in prison, he won't leave prison unless it's in a body bag. Like Edmund, he escaped the death penalty because the state they were tried in didn't carry out the death penalty at that time.
Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker:
(Richard Ramirez. Picture credit: nytimes)
'' I love to kill people. I love standing watching them die. I would shoot them in the head and they would wiggle and squirm all over the place and then just stop, or cut them with a knife and watch their faces turn real white. I love all that blood. I told one lady to give me all her money, she said no, so I cut her and pulled her eyes out.'' - Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker.
Richard Ramirez (29th of February 1960 - 7th of June 2013) was a vile character who committed the most horrific crimes and yet he has an army of admirers like Ted Bundy has and it is really disturbing, I remember watching a documentary about 'Serial Killer Groupies' and there was a lady who was convinced that she and Richard were in this loving relationship together. For some of these lonely types of women they seem to think that these monsters will change or never harm them. I find the whole thing sickening and so disrespectful to the victims and their families, if you are an admirer of a serial killer, you need to book an appointment with a Doctor asap!
Anyway, this lady was like a teenager in love talking about Richard but she'd never actually met him, they just communicated through letters (in other words, she was sending him money and he was using her). On the day that she went to meet him in prison for the very first time, she went into the building all excited. Some time passed and when she came out of the door she looked like she had seen a ghost. It turned out that the fantasy of Richard that she had was nothing like the stark light of day that she had before her. He was an absolute psycho and creepy at that.....what did she expect? Put it this way, she never wrote to him again.
Richard was infamously known as 'The Night Stalker' and was believed to be responsible for as many as over 16 murders. He would break into people's homes in Los Angeles, California in the early to mid 1980s. He would rob, stab, shoot and mutilate his victims. He gouged out the eyes of a victim and sexually assaulted most of his victims who were mostly in their retirement age. His victims were both male and female, age range 30 - 83. The horror he inflicted on these people is just beyond words. I have had this case requested too and as horrific as it is, I would be up for the challenge of writing about it if there is much interest in me doing so.
'' We are all evil in some form or another, are we not?.'' - Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker.
If evil had a face, Richard Ramirez was it, an absolute sick and evil monster and I can't understand people who idolise the likes of him, getting tattoos and wearing t-shirts of his face is just pure madness in my opinion.
Richard was sentenced to death but died in prison of chronic Hepatitis C infection (I hope it was agony for him) so the relatives of his victims never got to see that side of justice, I do hope that the fact he was behind bars and away from society did give some sort of comfort to know that he couldn't hurt anyone else.
