Must Watch:
Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer. This chilling film is loosely based on serial killers Henry Lee Lucas & Ottis Toole. No matter how many times I've seen the ending of this film it still leaves a chill down my spine. Michael Rooker gives a disturbing and very realistic performance as Henry.
Must Watch:
To Catch A Killer: This movie starring the late & incredible Brian Dennehy is an incredibly chilling piece of film based on serial killer John Wayne Gacy's shocking crimes. Click the movie poster to watch it on Youtube.

Newspapers.com
A huge part of my work is to research previous newspaper articles for relevant information regarding any historical events, trials, cases etc. Newspapers.com by Ancestry has been invaluable in my work and I was lucky to have been gifted a subscription to help with my research. Not only do I use this great site for research, I also enjoy reading all kinds of past and present articles. I cannot recommend this site enough, I love it! Click the screenshot for details on how to treat yourself to a subscription, you won't regret it!

The Lisbon Maru
The shocking and heartbreaking story of the 1,800 British prisoners of war who went through hell during WW2 in POW camps only to be transported on to a ship in horrific conditions, fighting for their lives after the ship was torpedoed & they were forced by their evil captors to remain so they would drown. Many young men lost their lives, others survived thanks to the kindness of local Chinese fishermen who rescued them. My 27 year old great-uncle Lance Corporal John Donnelly was amongst these brave men who fought for their lives. I will be covering this story here on my blog but please check out this incredible piece of film if you can. God bless John, the men who lost their lives, the survivors, their families and the amazing fishermen and their families who helped try to rescue so many young men. Click the poster for more information & the documentary film.
