Champneys cloud nine indulgent body lotion | #Blogtober day 30

As you probably know, if you're a reader of my blog or follow me on social media, I'm a big fan of Champneys and I've mentioned their products a few times on this blog.

I picked up some more of their products recently and one of them was the gorgeous Cloud Nine Indulgent Body Lotion (350 ml for £8.00)

Their cloud nine range is one of my favourites, the scent is absolutely divine and very addictive!

I love a good pamper and stepping out of the bath or shower and treating my skin to this is amazing. This lotion smells so gorgeous and just melts into the skin. Your skin is left feeling pampered and silky soft with a gorgeous scent.

This gorgeously rich scent is a combination of plum, orange, rum, vanilla and precious woods. It may sound like a strange combination of notes but it really is divine and such a beautiful scent.

Other products in this range include:

The Nutcracker Delight - Hazelnut, Maple & Praline candle (£4) | #Blogtober day 8

As you know I'm a big fan of Glade scented candles and I'm forever picking up a few of them every time I go shopping. My favourite is the 'Spiced Apple and Cinnamon' candle.

I picked up a few different scents this time along with my favourite and came across this one, Nutcracker Delight candle.

As with the others in the range, this gem retails at only £4.00 and has a lovely design around the glass which is very festive and perfect for autumn. The scent is a divine blend of hazelnut, maple, praline, vanilla bean and almond butter. If you like the scent of roasted hazelnuts you'll love this.
This candle is inspired by the movie 'The Nutcracker And The Four Realms' and other scented candles in the range include:

- Sugarplum Fantasies: This candle has a blend of Plum, Blackberry and Violet.

- Dancing Flowers: A lovely blend of Jasmine, Lily and Apple.

You can find these candles at most supermarkets in store and online. I picked mine up at Tesco

Marshmallow & Cherry Bakewell Bubble baths | #Blogtober day 6

There's nothing like a lovely big bath full of bubbles especially at this time of year to help relax the mind, warm up the body and rest the muscles.

I love a good bubble bath and I love a good scented bubble bath even better! I love traditional scented bubble baths like lavender, ylang ylang etc but I've also been loving the fruity scented baths and now I've picked up these two gems from Imperial Leather

I was intrigued by the 'Marshmallow' and 'Cherry Bakewell' scents and thought I would give them a try. They only retail at £1.00 each (500ml) from Boots  and you can find them at various drugstores and supermarkets. Check the prices at other retailers as I have seen that some of them are pricing these products at £1.99.
The scent of both of these products is divine and a little goes a long way with them. I would run my bath water and pour a little bit of the product in under the tap and the bubbles would start to take shape. They are really great quality for £1.00 and you get a lot of bang for your buck as they say lol.

So, these are a great addition to my bathroom pampering collection for when I fancy a 'Marshmallow' or 'Cherry Bakewell' bubble bath.

Have you tried these? What do you think? Are there other scents that you'd recommend? Leave a comment below or Tweet me

The dreamy £3 Mulled Wine candle | #Blogtober day 4

One of my favourite scented candles right now is the gorgeous Mulled Wine candle from Air Wick

I love autumn and winter scents such as spiced apple, cinnamon and mulled wine. I bought a few scented candles and thought I would try this one out too. I was not disappointed,

The glass has a gorgeously festive design of white and red snowflakes all around it and the smell of the candle is amazing. I've been burning the candle over the past few days and it doesn't take long after first lighting for the room to be filled with a gorgeous, cosy mulled wine scent. I love it!
Like I've said many times before, some people spend a fortune on expensive candles and the wicks either sink into the wax or the scent doesn't last that long with some of them. I've been a big fan of Glade and Air Wick scented candles for a few years now because they last long, have amazing scents and are really affordable.

This gorgeous candle only retails at £3. You can find Air Wick candles at most supermarkets. I got mine from Sainsburys

Have you tried this divine candle yet? what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me at: @CaledonianTweet

Cosy Autumn Evening Routine | #Blogtober day 2

As the evenings start getting darker and darker some people can feel the blues coming on and being someone who suffers from anxiety myself, I always try to create as much of a relaxing atmosphere and routine as possible towards the end of the day.

The first thing I do when I come through the front door is go straight to the kitchen for a cup of tea! I usually drink PG Tips or Twinings (the decaf versions of course) or a cup of Pukka's Chamomile, Manuka Honey and Vanilla tea.

I like to eat very light in the evening. If I'm really hungry I'll have a bowl of cereal. For a light snack I'll just have a cereal bar. If it's my period and I'm treating myself then it'll be some chocolate or pizza lol!

I get changed into my favourite dressing gown, fluffy socks and slipper boots. My hair goes up in a messy bun. Scented candles are lit (Apple Cinnamon and Mulberry by Glade and Mulled wine by Air Wick are my favourites at the moment. They are so affordable, smell gorgeous and last quite a while) and I either scroll through Netflix or browse Youtube.

I also check social media to reply to any messages and retweet/read some blog posts.

Some evenings I'll just stay like this for a while then get my things ready for the morning before I hit the hay. I also have a bedtime routine which I'll include in a future post.

On other evenings I'll head upstairs to the bathroom for either a good soak in a bath full of bubbles or a quick shower then I'll come back downstairs and chill for a while with my candles, social media and a movie or some youtube videos till it's time to get ready for bed.

I find scented candles so relaxing but I also like fairy lights too. I'm a big fan of soft, relaxing lighting in a room. I think it really sets the scene and can help relax you.

Well, that's my autumn evening routine. It isn't glitz and glam but it's relaxing and certainly does the trick for me after a cold, stressful day. What's does your autumn evening routine involve? Let me know in the comments below or tweet me at: @CaledonianTweet
