True Crime With Caledonian Kitty

Welcome to my blog/website where you will find all of my latest true crime posts as well as more about me & links to all of my official social media platforms. 

I'm Jo, you may know me as 'Caledonian Kitty' from elsewhere on Social Media. I started writing my true crime blog around 2019 and it took off from there. I have always been interested in Criminology and studied the subject at University. I think it has always been in my blood to be a true crime writer, growing up on a council estate in Scotland where crime was rife, I have seen a lot of things first hand and experienced quite a lot in my life to be able to write the way that I do about the cases that I cover. I care a lot about the cases I have written about, the victims, the survivors and their families, I want to tell their stories in as sensitive a way as I possibly can without shying away from the reality of what the perpetrator or perpetrators have done. 

A lot of time, energy, research and passion goes into all of my content and many a late night has been spent working on my cases but it is all worth it to be able to bring you these stories that some of you may not have heard about. 

I appreciate all my of readers and fans of my blog, some of whom have been with me since the early days of my true crime work and are still here today. I have written a whole different range of true crime cases from obsessed stalkers to serial killers. Check out my Archives list for a quick browse of all of my cases published so far. 

My goal is to have my true crime books on the shelves one day!

I do have some plans in progress to create a podcast doing an audio version of cases I have already covered as well as new ones so watch this space (my YouTube channel)

So a little bit about me, well you know my name so I'll cut to a little bit of my background. I was born and grew up in Scotland before moving to England. I've bounced between Scotland and England all of my life but currently live in England and have done so for a very long time but I visit my hometown in Scotland regularly. I'm half Spanish, I'm vegetarian. I'm not married or have children but those are things I would love to have in the future. I have rescue kitties, Gobbolino, Mr Meowgi and Gabriel. I'm a huge animal lover. 

I work in PR, I'm also an alternative model and full time glamourpuss!. I'm currently undertaking another Criminology course and working on my first book (true crime related of course!). 

As mentioned before, I am very active on social media and like interacting with readers, fans and followers. 

I'm a lover of classic horror, heavy metal and rock. I also love the 80s, I'm obsessed with that whole decade from the music, to the fashion to the movies, I love it all.
