Before you shop online, read this 🙄😠👎🚫

I'm in the middle of having a drama with Hermes (Herpes more like) Parcel Delivery and QVC UK
What was supposed to be a simple order for a set of nail polishes has turned into two weeks of me chasing down my order and messed about non stop by these two unprofessional companies.

I take some of the blame for failing to do my research into QVC UK before I bought anything from them. All you have to do is look at the Autopilot customer review site to see that they have scored 1 star out of 301 reviews. The list of bad reviews have been endless from people branding them scam artists to sending cheap tacky products that look nothing like they do on the screen. Their ''customer service'' is an absolute disgrace too. I've since read countless complaints about them but now I have my own first hand experience of dealing (trying to deal) with them.

After endless emails being ignored. I contacted QVC UK on twitter and I got a tweet from a guy name Liam with the usual crap of ''send an email to blah, blah, blah''. They send these tweets to make it look like they are doing something about the problem but in reality they are just fobbing you off in the hope that you'll shut up and stop spilling the tea about them on social media. So, I sent another bloody email which got ignored (surprise surprise) and another one this morning to no response.

When I'd made my purchase online and they sent me confirmation to say that Hermes (Herpes) would be delivering the parcel, my heart sank. I'd heard so much horrible things about that courier and the last time they delivered something to me, a skinny guy in a tracksuit who couldn't speak much English came to my door, threw the parcel at me and said ''You, Sign''. He seemed angry so I quickly signed and he left. That delivery was a few days late but I was glad that it had arrived. So many fellow bloggers have told me of their parcels being lost (most likely, stolen), arriving with half the items missing, damaged parcels or parcels being thrown in the bin or left outside on the doorstep in the rain.

As well as trying to get blood out of a stone from QVC UK, I've been trying constantly to get in touch with Hermes (Herpes) and that's been an absolute nightmare! The ridiculous tracker that I was sent days ago keeps saying ''allow another 24 hours''. It has said that everyday for the past week and it's driving me mad. I managed to get onto this terrible live chat with them with someone who didn't have a clue what they were doing. They told me that a driver had been sent out last week and they couldn't find my address and that's why it wasn't delivered. They then told me that QVC UK didn't put my full address down on the parcel and that's why they hadn't delivered it.

I cant seem to get a proper answer from either QVC UK or Hermes (Herpes) and I now know that this seems to be a regular occurrence for other people too. As I know many of my fellow bloggers and followers prefer to shop online, I thought it would be important to include a list of the companies that use Hermes (Herpes) as a courier. Why should you pay a lot of money for an item and delivery costs if you don't get it in the proper condition or on the time that you expect it?

I thought that Hermes (Herpes) was just terrible on the run up to Christmas but it seems that they are crap all year round. So take this as a warning fellow shoppers of the UK lol, think twice about ordering from QVC UK and run for the hills if you see a company that uses Hermes as their courier.

It's sad that a lot of brands only care about the payment and have no concern on what happens to the item after that. You'd think that they'd want to provide satisfactory customer service so that the customer would return? The reason a lot of brands use Hermes is because they are cheap and a lot of them know about their reputation but they don't care. I'm not happy with certain brands who pretend to have a customer helpline or email but it's really all for show, they don't reply or they fob a customer off with excuses.

Well, I don't know if I'll ever get to the bottom of this or ever see my parcel but one thing is for sure, I will not be ordering from QVC UK again and if I order something else online and they send confirmation that Hermes will be delivering my order, I will cancel straight away. It's not worth the hassle.

I hope you have found this post useful and hopefully you haven't had to deal with any dramas with Hermes.

  2. I don't have a Hermes where I live, but wow they sound horrible, I have never had that bad of an experience with with a mail carrier but it slightly reminds me of fedex because they will pull up throw the pack on the deck and leave. Hopefully the more people who refuse to use a company because of them using Hermes the more those companies will decide to do the right thing and drop them.
