Vanilla Cupcake candle | #Blogtober day 21

At this time of year I love my traditional autumn scented candles like spiced apple and cinnamon but I do like other scented candles too which you can pretty much burn at anytime of the year. Whilst I did my latest shopping spree picking up essentials, new products, Christmas advent calendars and gifts, this Vanilla Cupcake candle from Yankee Candle caught my eye.

As I'm having a chilled weekend, doing my self care routine, catching up with my favourite Netflix series and reading/typing up blog posts, I've had this little beauty on the burn.

Before lighting the candle there's a lovely, fresh baked biscuity/cake scent to it with a hint of vanilla.
After the candle had been burning for a while, it not only helped create a relaxing atmosphere as candles do, it filled the room with a nice, light vanilla scent.

I've been burning the candle for about 3 hours now and the wax is still more or less at the top which is pretty good. I'm very picky with my candles and always buy the ones that I know are good quality and long lasting. I like a lot of the Yankee Candle and Glade ranges.

I tried a different brand of candle recently and within 2 days it was done lol! The wick kept sticking into the wax, there was a thick black ring of smoke around the candle and it just seemed to burn away like paper. Whenever I find a good candle I always like to write about it on here.

I really like this candle, it seems to be lasting well. The only negative thing would be that I would've liked the scent to be a bit stronger instead of subtle but that's ok.

You can find this candle plus other gorgeous scents at: Boots

The Vanilla Cupcake candle retails at £10.99.
