October favourites 2018 | #Blogtober day 25

It's hard to believe that it's day 25 of #Blogtober and I'm still going strong lol! It's also hard to believe that we are coming to the end of October and my birthday is fast approaching (5th of November...eeek!).

As I'm typing this, it's actually late evening and I'm covered in fake tan. If you're wondering which tan,  it's my trusty St Tropez (not sponsored or gifted just bought by me lol). I'm typing this up on the Tuesday night for the Thursday (are you still with me?). The reason for this (and the smothering myself in fake tan) is that I'm going to see the much anticipated movie Bohemian Rhapsody

I cannot tell you how much I've wanted to see this movie. I think I've been obsessed with it since I heard they were going to start making it! If you follow me on here or social media, you'll know how much I adore Freddie Mercury (I named my cat after him) and of course Queen.

Anyways, I rambled on... I wanted to include a little bit about the film (with no spoilers) at the end of the post because I just have to include it in my October favourites!

Ok, so I'll mention that at the end and start telling you now what I've been loving this month. Grab a warm drink (the nights are getting colder and colder, especially this week, the temp has really dipped) and enjoy.......
You'll have spotted me talking about this in a recent post and if you haven't, click on the link and have a little browse, I mention price and all that jazz in the post. I've been using this non stop in my shower/bathing routine since I bought it and I adore it!
This was a fun product and one that's now in my makeup bag and part of my glam routine. I wrote all about it in this post recently and shared a before and after pic so you get an idea of how this works.
One of my earliest #Blogtober posts and an absolute bargain at £1.00 each. I've actually ran out of both of them (I wasn't lying when I said I was a bubble bath addict) and I'll be picking up some more. I'll also see if there are any other scents available? If you know or recommend any other scents then please leave a comment below. You can find out more about these gems in my post
I don't know why I've included these as they are my go-to facial wax strips that I use all the time and not just in October but I keep forgetting to add them in my monthly favourites. I've tried other wax brands and they don't seem to cut the mustard with me. I picked these up at Boots for £6.55 (Tip: If your hands are too cold to warm up the wax strips, use a hairdryer. I always find that the strips work really well when I've heated them up with a hairdryer, it helps soften the wax more).
One of my favourite posts this month was my Soap & Glory favourites post. Check out the post to see which skincare and cosmetic goodies I'm currently loving from S&G.
I've become a big fan of Green & Black's Organic milk chocolate, It's so yummy! I also like their mint & dark chocolate bars.
One of my popular posts of October featured the Mulled Wine candle by Air Wick this is a gorgeous festive scented candle with a lovely scent that's long lasting and it's only £3. Check out my post for more details.
I'm still loving this advent calender by Liz Earle. I've been naughty and opened some of the boxes and even started to use some of the products. I talked all about it in this post

Look out for a giveaway featuring one of these advent calendars in my upcoming Christmas gift guide.

Bohemian Rhapsody

As predicted, the movie was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of it! All the cast were superb, especially Rami Malek who did an incredible job of portraying Freddie. I felt completely uplifted after seeing the film and wanted to watch it all over again.

If you get the chance, please go and see it, especially if you're a Queen or Freddie Mercury fan, you won't be disappointed.

So, there's my favourites for October! Which products have you been loving this month? Have you been to see Bohemian Rhapsody? what did you think? leave a comment below or tweet me at: @CaledonianTweet

Thanks as always for checking out my latest post & I'll see you in the next one x
