100% natural, vegan & organic skincare goodness from @LaveraUK | #Blogtober day 26

If you're looking for some fabulous new skincare to protect and keep your skin looking it's best through the harsh autumn/winter weather, you should check out Lavera Natural Cosmetics

You'll be pleased to know that, as well as being 100% natural and organic, they are also vegan and their Ultra Hydrating Cream recently won the gold award in the Top Sante ageless beauty awards.

I was kindly sent the Hydro Effect day Cream and the Hydro Effect Cleansing Balm to try out and knowing that the products were 100% natural I didn't have to be concerned about any harsh chemicals on my sensitive skin.

I wear a lot of makeup so I was interested to see how the cleansing balm would work out and also the day cream. As I mentioned before, my skin is sensitive and prone to spots if I use the wrong type of cream so I have to be careful.

On first impressions, I really liked the look of the products and all the information was stated clearly on the packaging. The Hydro Effect cleansing balm had a light, silky texture and glided easily onto the skin. The product made my skin feel fresh and deeply cleaned. I used the balm to remove my makeup and it did a really good job of removing all that foundation as well as dead skin cells and impurities. I loved how fresh and breathable my skin felt after using this product.

I would recommend that if you're using this product to remove your make up, to pick up some cotton wool pads as using tissue can be a bit harsh on the skin. I'm a big fan of olive oil and this cleanser contains both organic olive oil and organic algae.

There was a clean scent to the balm but with a little hint of a bonjela scent which quickly goes away once applied to the skin. I was quite happy with the scent though and didn't find it overpowering.

The day cream helps protect your skin from the harsh everyday pollutants of the environment and helps protect against skin ageing. This again, had a light texture and the same scent as the cleansing balm. I used this under my foundation and on days when I wasn't wearing any makeup to help create a protective barrier for my skin.

I enjoyed using both products and they worked perfectly on my sensitive skin. There was no harshness or irritation.
